- when someone says "My laptop just went pop and now it won't turn on", you wince. When it's felishathekitty's laptop (one you've spent months configuring to her desires), you just wanna cry. She's dead, Jim.

- Last week was not fun...made me wish I was a 'kept' gentleman, with only the responsibilities of cooking & laundry. A man can dream, can't he?

- I miss my grandson, but I am getting back use to peace and quiet in the house.

- Is it wrong that (due to monetary reasons) I may send L to the West Coast to see TheChild and family for Christmas, and I stay in Atlanta?

- I'm 5 episodes behind on Heroes on my DVR, but not in a hurry...still have all the episodes of Bionic Woman and Journeyman unwatched. Do I need to turn in my geek card?
