Media Play, the big-box seller of music, games and movies, is going out of business and will be closing all of its more than 60 stores nationwide

There are 4 here in Atlanta - in some places the markdowns have started.

There was one right by where we lived, near the Gwinnett Place Mall. It closed a little while ago. I'm not sure when, as I didn't really notice. :)

That sucks for their employees.. Just now finding out (on Friday)!

That's sad to hear. Greg actually managed a Musicland store back in the mid-90's, just as the Musicland Group was begining to open Media Play stores in order to compete with the Best Buys of the world. It looks like Best Buy wins.
