Final obstacles overcome...

What a day.

Rainy gloominess kept my mood a little murky.

Friends were having bad days...hope I helped make the day a little more palatable.

Someone tried to break into my car while I was at the grocery store - now my window doesn't roll down. (To the criminal geniuses out there who thought my 1994 Dodge banged-up hoopty was a prime catch - kill yourselves now)

The person I was staying with on my trip had to back out at the very very last minute (she was in an accident, but thankfully she's OK)...this caused a mad scramble - thanks to a couple of good friends, my shelter worries have been taken care of (and I owe you both - just ask...)

Just finished packing....about to go to bed. Looking forward to a productive and energizing weekend.

I'll be back probably Tuesday...take care of each other.

Made it to Chi-town with few problems.
