Never too early to start planning
Oct. 7th, 2009 11:35 amI think that 2010 should be the year you do (at least) 3 things you've never done before.
So I vow to:
====================
What are you planning to do that you've never done before? (or want to do again but haven't?)
So I vow to:
- Finally go camping.
- Finally go to visit the DC area.
- Finally do a (at least) 1 week road trip to see friends.

Hi, I'm
reprobayt and welcome to what passes for my world.

- I enjoy computers, women, almost all music, reading, massages, cats, scantily-clad women, traveling, Vegas, topless women, spending time with friends, some sci-fi, a good whiskey, naked women and racing (car and horse).
- I'm old enough to know better than to tell you my age...but I feel young.
- In love and married to the wonderful
felishathekitty, my best friend for twenty-something years and my wife for seventeen. She rarely posts but she's no wallflower - ask around Atlanta and around LJ folks who have partied with her. :) We have our lives together as well as outside interests with no jealousy or 'leashes'. Love is not a singular thing, neither is happiness (but don't try this at home - we are professionals). I am lucky enough to have people who I love...and I try to tell them that as much as humanly possible.
- I'm pretty straightforward and opinionated - so don't ask questions you don't want the answers to...
- One daughter (AKA TheChild) who is living her life in Nevada with her husband and our grandson...happily plunging us into our 'Post Child-Rearing Renaissance'. Note to self - post picture of Grandson soon before people begin to revolt.
- I have many friends (both from LJ and living life) - and I try to be there for all of them. If I can I do...if not, it's only because I can't.
- Rather be hanging out all night at a friend's house (or my own) than in a club or bar. Working the door/bouncer at bars in my youth took the bloom of that rose - every once in a while is cool though...

Just a thinkin'
Oct. 26th, 2007 09:50 amI was doing that thinking thing again...
Found myself looking at my life, friends and lifestyle - and was amused when my 21 year old self popped in my head to exclaim "Now this is definitely not how I thought our life would be...not that I'm complaining at all."
After he *bamfed* away, I pondered about life and such for a while. I'm a lucky man.
So I ask you...and this is just betwixt you and me. :)

Time is passing, the passage of time....
Sep. 24th, 2007 02:41 pmA few years ago (wow, it's been that long...), I posted the following entry you'll find below. A lovely person said something today that reminded me of it, and I am just as curious now as I was then...
==================
My mind's been wandering in interesting places lately....
You all know I can be a bit transparent and obvious - but some of the most precious memories that give me the warm fuzzies and tingles in fun places really had very little to do with THE ACT.
It was an action, a gesture from the heart, a situation where I looked at the person and thought "She may not have meant it this way. It was a show of her caring for me, and I want her right NOW!"
For me, it was someone who I was kinda seeing coming over to help me pack to move. It wasn't a token appearance kinda thing - she stayed, got dirty and sweaty with the rest of us. Her actions and where they came from in her heart made it very difficult not to kick everyone out and play between the dust and boxes.... *sigh*
There has also been a time or two, where something I did had a complete unintentional, but 'pleasant' result....I call it the "I was minding my own business for a change" moment.
Then there are things I wish a woman would do - something not particularly sexual, but touches me in that way. Again using myself as an example, I once in a movie a woman with much care shaving a man with a straight razor. That hits me at a level I can't really explain, but I know what the next scene looks like in my head. :)
Which begs the question...
[Poll #1060471]
There are 250 in each, so don't be brief. :)

Because people (and animals) need help.
Jul. 26th, 2007 03:10 pmYou are given 100 dollars to split between 2 charities...one for humans, one for animals.
To whom would you give the monies? (URLs are acceptable)
For me? Homeless Pets and one I'd like to start one day that would help pay legal fees and such for people with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome et al... to fight through the red tape that is the Social Security Disability system.
How about you?
