Moving stuff Saturday and Sunday morning.

What do I happen to read this morning?

A 70 percent chance of rain is predicted for Saturday, with temperatures holding in the 40s.

A 30 percent chance of rain and snow is forecast for early Saturday night, with a mix of rain, freezing rain and snow possible after midnight. Lows Saturday night should dip into the upper 20s across metro Atlanta.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with a 20 percent chance of snow in the morning and rain in the afternoon, and highs in the upper 40s.

Tell me again whom I have pissed off?

Everyone has an event in their lives that put fear into your heart and sends you wishing for that place with the soft walls and and long (long) sleeved jackets.  For me, it's moving.

The bad experiences I've had moving over the years would give Stephen King nightmares.  Lost furniture, late furniture, movers showing up late, movers not showing up at all...you get the idea.

This latest move has me mentally sitting in the corner, rocking back and forth whispering "No more leeches, Momma...no more leeches".

For one thing, [livejournal.com profile] felishathekitty's help is limited - she got a great consulting gig working from home.  The problem is she is working 10 hour days (from the office at the new place - we see each other every couple of days), plus doing her club promotions at night AND helping out the owner of the club as a personal assistant.  So I'm pretty much spearheading things - which of course means that work and other aspects of my life decide to tsunami me...long stories but enough to make me want to go stabby into that good night.

All these things plus my inherent fear of moving has me pretty much in a whirlwind state that goes from zero to OMGWTFBBQ in about 2 seconds.  My friends are the only way I've made it so far and the only way I'll make it to the end of the month without doctor's care (not including [livejournal.com profile] kyoki_tenchi & [livejournal.com profile] mermaidblue).  Saturday and Sunday mornings will be moving stuff time - the rest will be spend finishing up the packing...*twitchtwitch*

I swear, I'll be better in March - just understand and bear with me until then, OK?

Time to pack up the network for the move.

Things are looking better due to great friends. I'm feeling better.

Text me if you need me...take care of each other.
