Although honestly I would rather walk in to a vet emergency room any day and give my charity contribution to someone who looked like they had a dog in serious condition behind the closed operating doors because I know how costly it can be and anything to help to at least ease their mind a little. If I were rich and eccentric I would do that once in awhile.
