I honestly don't see what (if any) affect not posting for 24 hours will have. I really don't have an issue with free accounts being removed. You know just as well as I do the expence and effort it takes to keep servers and networks running smoothly. Particulairly on a site that gets as much traffic as this one does. This site (warts and all) offers a service worth paying for (and is extremely cheap considering what you get) and anyone who thinks they "deserve" free access to it honestly needs to grow up and join the real world. And yeah, if I was the CEO of SUP, I wouldnt back down because of a strike either. If enough paid users leave then he will have a legitimate buisness reason to reconsider his decision. But not posting for 24 hours? All that does is relieve some of the strain on the servers for a day...

You know as well as I do that many people think that they are 'entitled' to some for nothing (or very little) and nothing can change without their consent. They think that if mistakes or missteps are made then it is a personal affront and not a business decision. And if they use their stompy boots, they can change the world.

We have to disposition calls at work with different results. Unfortunately the results don't seem to fit. I've come up with some of my own, as follows:

* Waste of my GOT-damned time.
* Did your parents have any children who lived?
* Never left the seventies, and flower power was not kind.
* Dropped on her head as an infant. Repeatedly.
* Apparently his shit don't stink.
* Put down the crackpipe, THEN call us.
* I ain't paid enough to deal with HIS shit.
