Still no word on the job and no returning of calls. Looks like another dead end.

Still no luck with placing the cats. Will work on a flyer - don't know what else to do.

Craigslist also has a "pet" section; most people charge a minimal rehoming fee to make sure people are serious about being good to the animals. Of course some people get pissed off about that. LOL.

I'm sorry about the job thing. MIL is still looking, too, and has applied for stuff several job grades beneath her just to get anything but no luck. Hopefully things will pick up after the election!! :-)
