First of all,

A welcome to the charismatic [livejournal.com profile] ijk and the luscious [livejournal.com profile] one_woman_army - my life has more meaning because you are here...

I'm planning on checking out of the madness for a few hours this week, but I can't decide what to pop in the DVD...

What was the last DVD you watched, and should I see it?

Mine was The Core. Don't.

Boondock Saints; I was showing it to [livejournal.com profile] sibylla and [livejournal.com profile] ryokan. You already know it rocks.

Josie and the Pussycats. I love the movie. See it if you haven't.

Before that was The Cell. There's so much of my subconcious in that movie.

Life Of Brian, Monty Python.

You should, if you haven't.

Always look on the bright side of life.

Surprisingly, I've never seen the whole movie.

That's a good idea.

Even better, of course, is to watch it with a friend. :)

The Piglet Movie, of course. I had to take Hedwig and the Angry Inch out to play it, tho. The things we do for our offspring, eh?

And I'd recommend both.

Me too. I just wanted to see it again. But before that was The Fugitive.

A Chorus Line, which I picked up at Target for 10 bucks.

I don't recommend movies to people though, because I love movies so much I watch bad ones and like them...

The last DVD I watched was The Secretary. It was disturbing, and the chick in the title role delivered her lines in a flat monotone. But I'm told she was great at the visual parts. I just . . . couldn't get into it.

Hmm, most recent was The X-Files movie, not too bad. Most recent *recent release* was Phone Booth, highly recommended for sure! :)

Actually, this is the last one I watched, too... was making Datahawk watch it. :)

And if you haven't seen it, you should definitely do so.

Yes you should see it, if you haven't already.

I liked it. Despite it being De'caprio, it was charming. He did a fine job of playing hte lead, and I liked Tom Hanks in it. It was fun. Not deep, not scary, not thought provoking. Fun.

Watch it one lonely Sunday with a bowl of popcorn and a smile.

We started watching the box set of Serial Experiments: Lain. I would recommend it highly, especially if you're interested in the relationship of online and meat worlds.
