My brain is being brainwashed...

Happiness is KFC in my stomach and canceled meetings for the afternoon!

Starting to get in a vacation mode. My mind decided I needed to put myself on 'deadline' to accomplish some things by my birthday (July 10th for those just joining us)

This is what I've gotten so far:

• Buy a new mattress for the daybed.


• Restock the bar at home.


• Have my entire apartment clean and arranged to my liking (whether I do it or enlist help).


• Invite everyone over once it is clean to mess it up again and unstock the bar.


• Build a new computer.


• 'Burn' all my CDs to the computer.


• Sell most of my CDs.


• Work on feeding old and cultivating new friendships/relationships.


• Make it to Chicago.


• Make it to Bethlehem, Georgia.


• Make it to The Darlington.


• Make it to retrohaven.


• ....just Make It.

hmm....Doable? We'll see - and who knows what else I will add.

Also, I'll be in Atlanta next month. Hopefully I can setup a meet up time and stuff. :) (somewhat limited due to lack of vehicle... for once I'd be dependent on my sister for rides instead of the other way around. o_O)

Why not combine the barstocking with the party? We used to do this back in the day. Ask all the invitees to bring 2 things: food/booze/toys etc for the party, and a bottle of something they like to drink. The bottle is not to be opened at the party, but is reserved for future engagements, guaranteeing that your bar gets restocked, and no one ever visits without you being able to offer them a nice glass of something they like.
