Reports of my demise/hermitage are extremely exaggerated.
This short work week has reminded me how relaxing staying at home in a quiet house with few responsibilities can be. The past couple months I've been running everywhere, trying to see everyone and talking with several friends (and family) that are going through rough times. And I would do it all again in a heartbeat...
But I promised myself when I went away last month that I would force more downtime on myself, and I chose this week to recharge. The 4th of
July holiday was fun, and I expect this weekend to be just as fun and crazy.
And I love it.
More to come...

Date: 2005-07-08 05:46 pm (UTC)Downtime is good. It's needed every once in a while, ya know? I'm looking forward to my vacation to Wisconsin next month as a much needed chance to recharge. Glad to see you're getting that now.
Happy b-day dear. Who's going to be jumping out of the cake?
