Frustrating, tiring, sad week.

Tried several times to get how I felt out on 'paper' on things I've seen or heard or read, but without success.

I mean, the government should become involved when there are safety issues. But for f#cks sake people help yourselves - band together. Rapes at the superdome? why would people close enough to KNOW/SEE allow it to happen?

Everytime I hear someone complain about gas in a passive-agressive manner it makes me soooooooo angry inside. My best friend and her family live (or did) in New Orleans and don't know what kind of property damage they'll be faceing when they go back. And I know that they're just counting themselves as lucky no matter what they'll be going home to.

Makes me wanna kick the people up here who weren't effected in anyway other than their gas budget that they bitch about. Sure gas prices are annoyingly high, but it's called 'the bigger picture' and some people need to pay attention to that. It's so nice to see that some people realise this and that not all people on LJ are spoiled or self-centered.
