I posted earlier today. Wasn't in a good place.
But I rode it out.
Since then:
All that to say, I'm all right. Hell, I'm happy.
There's nothing I can't handle.
And chicks dig scars....even when life is holding the knife.
But I rode it out.
Since then:
- Had lunch with a great friend.
- Met with my boss's boss to try and make work a better place to be
- Got a phone call from my sick friend that (although contained no news) made us both smile.
- Got calls from friends checking on me.
- Got a card in the mail that made me grin from ear to ear.
- Got a "wake-up" call that changed my mood immediately.
All that to say, I'm all right. Hell, I'm happy.
There's nothing I can't handle.
And chicks dig scars....even when life is holding the knife.

Date: 2005-10-14 01:33 am (UTC)So true. It's cause we have so many of our own sometimes, that a few more from someone we love just slide under the radar. ~hugs~ Glad to see you happy again!
