I am looking to move closer to the city in a few months for convenience sake, but something happened late last night that I will miss. Our complex has a quarter-mile access road flanked by woods - for the second time a doe (a deer, a female deer) crossed (well) in front of the car. What a noble looking creature. It was the positive ending to a somewhat negative day.

The next person that refers the the hurricane season and global warming as if 'suddenly' there is a magnifying glass in the Gulf of Mexico (and nowhere else) will be tied up and spanked.
--------------------------
Thinking about visiting Seattle or Portland next year, simply because i've never seen that part of the country. Anybody got any other reasons for visiting that area?
--------------------------
ABBA's "The Winner Takes It All" is one of my all-time favorite songs. Wanna make something of it?
--------------------------
I'm looking forward to spending time with good friends over the next few days/weekend. Sleep is overrated. :D
--------------------------
Sadly, there are others who schedules/lives preclude spending time with them right now. Here's hoping patience will be rewarded.
--------------------------
A month from now I shall be on vacation. This is a Good Thing. Still wish I could sneak up North for a weekend...
--------------------------
Dear Powers That Be,
Several of my friends want to move to Atlanta. They are looking for jobs.
Help.
Sincerely,
reprobayt

Thank you...please drive through.

Date: 2005-10-19 03:56 pm (UTC)Yeah, I love where I live because of the deer. We had four frolicking in the front yard the other evening. We sat at the big bay window watching them for a long time. The kids were absolutely enthralled. I think the deer really love it at night in the fall because it's just the right nip in the air. Of course, it's also the time of year they hate the most because of hunters.
