Unfortunately I gave up on carrying my PDA years ago and lost track of software then. But if you wander over to unwiredben's journal and ask him stuff I'm sure he can give you some ideas. He's the Palm Software Demigod. And I ain't exaggerating when I say that.
iPaq is Windows Mobile, right? I don't really know anything about that platform, but Iambic makes a Windows Mobile counterpart to the PIM software that I use called Pocket Informant (the Palm version is Agendus). It acts as a shell over the native PIM apps to deliver tons more functionality. Their focus seems to be on Palm OS products, but if they put the same amount of expertise into their MS offering, it's well worth the money. They offer a free trial if you wanna give it a spin before paying them money.
