I'm in love with a commercial.

Was hanging out with twisteddaydream the other day, watching TV when a special came out detailing the funniest commercials ever.

And there it was.

Terry Tate - Office Linebacker.

This is my shame...I squeed. twisteddaydream thinks I need help - and that there is no Terry Tate intervention group.

This has been my favorite commercial of all time....humor, violence, more humor - it has it all. Add the fact that it's been a dream of mine to do this in several offices I've worked in and it creates tears of laughter every time I see it.

So much so that I had to find the extended version to share: Here is my addiction.

I need help.

I have several of the Terry Tate commercials here, including the extended version of the Superbowl one from the other year. Just say the word and they are yours if you want them :)

Amusingly, one of my friends actually knows the guy who plays Triple T. He used to be a wrestler for an independant wrestling fed that my friend used to go and see.

Damn straight :) Sadly as much as I would have liked to have done a Terry Tate on some of my former co-workers, at 5'8" and 150lbs I don't think I'd be very effective.

Yeah, I love Terry Tate. If I recall, it started as a student film, but then got picked up by Reebok. My favorite is when they brought in another linebacker who just wasn't as good as Terry and he tackled the wrong guy when he didn't know it was casual Friday.

He used to have his own website with all the commercials.
