Saw this and still laughed (from last year):

Hurricane names
tfcocs started a thread on her LJ about naming hurricanes after diseases. After all, naming them after people isn't very nice to those folks who have that name. I bet a lot of women named Katrina are a bit annoyed right now.
I had a thought about what would happen if we just confined it to mental illness.
publiusfestus started this off with "Tragedy struck when Hurricane OCD hit every county in Florida. Alphabetically."
Think of what the newscasts would be like, especially in a hurricane season like this one.
"NOAA meteorologists are baffled at Hurricane Bipolar Disorder, which keeps changing between Category 1 and Category 5 rapidly. Meanwhile, Hurricane Dissociative Identity Disorder is moving up and down the east and west coasts. Hurricane Schizophrenia is apparently 'covered with purple spiders', and Hurricane Paranoia is lurking suspiciously off the coast of Mexico. In other news, Hurricane Sado-Masochism has begun gently but firmly punishing the coast of Cuba. And, this just in, we have confirmed that Tropical Depression Depression has not moved for 30 days. And now sports!"
-----------------------
The classics never grow old....by the way,
teague added later in the comments: "Hurricane Social Anxiety is just drifting out in the ocean, seemingly coming closer to land, and other hurricanes before turning back in small circles."
