..and I mean this:

How do you relax and recharge from a stressful day?

Gear up and get underwater. Night diving is the best. ;-D

I'm such a nerd. I'll shut the fuck up about diving eventually. Until then, I'm here to annoy the crap out of all my friends about it.

I find that stress, and the related hormones, energy, etc. does not spontaneously dissappear. The best way to make it go away is to burn it off.

Dancing is my preference, but any aerobic exercise generally makes me feel much better.

If I can manage to get in the mood - sex.

Most of the time I lay in bed, watch TV, and browse the web. Soemtimes I nap and other times I do something like crochet. Oh, and I do mean nap and not "nap" though that could be a great stress reliever too. :D

Loud, powerful music in the car, and lots of driving.

I guess curling in the fetal position and sobbing isn't what you want to hear.

hot bath. followed by a mixed drink of great strength(i prefer b-52s). then, providing there is someone available, sex. lots of it. but only noisy and messy sex does it.
that is the sequence that makes for the perfect destressing.

It depends on what caused the stress. Taking a nice long hot bubble bath or getting a backrub and some snuggling tend to do the trick.

Severl ways depending on the type and cause of stress
1. Go out with friends. Either discuss the problem or just have fun and try not to think about it.
2. (and my most common) Good food, my latest yarn project and TV. Law & Order or a campy stuped movie like Charlie's Angels
3. Sometime nothing short of a long hot bath, good book, glass of wine and Madonna's Bedroom Cd will do the trick.
4. Lately I've been getting into Sudoku.

do you really want to know?

A particularly bad day means at the end I need to be tied down and flogged.

I wouldn't ask if I didn't want to know.

We all do what works. :)

well, in the absence of sex, which is always number one on the list....i'd say crank up the radio and sing really loud on the way home.

My favorite way to relax is to curl up with a good book or to take a relaxing bath with Bath and Body Works Eucalyptus & Spearmint Stress Relief bath stuff.

Hmmm...lots of answers, it depends on my mood at the time as to which works.

Cooking, having a drink outside of work and home-often coffee is just as good, have sex, take a nap, masturbate, hot smelly-good bath, read fiction, get a massage, ask Stef to put lotion on me (it's like a massage when i can't have one),watch tv, listen to music...that's off the top of my head...and you?

When I was in college I lived in turn-of-the-century dorms with huge, and I mean huge, bathtubs, as in I could stretch out completely and fill the water over my head in those suckers. And unlimited hot water.

When things got really stressful, I would lie down in the tub, close the drain, turn on the shower, and lie there until the shower had completely filled the tub and I was submerged, still with the shower beating down on the water. Then I'd let out the drain and lie there as the tub slowly emptied. Sometimes I'd do a complete second cycle.

These days? Hot bath, good book. Or a walk in the park.
