I firmly believe that if a sports star (or any man) hits or otherwise physically abuses a woman, she should shoot him.
Three game suspension? Anger management classes? Oh no, we're talking Dead Right There, Tango Uniform, taking the celestial dirt-nap, NIPPED IN THE GODDAMN BUD. Ended, over, zip, zero, zilch, cypher, stricken from the records and REMOVED from the gene pool.
But then again, I *am* one of those women who has "allowed her abuse to make her into a killer." What does that mean? It means that should a man hit or physically abuse a woman, it is a one strike out offense, and his cooling corpse serves a message to everyone else, millionaire sports star or not.
That message is this: DO NOT HARM SOMETHING THAT HAS AN OPPOSABLE THUMB. BITCH CAN AND WILL BLOW YOUR BRAINS OUT.

Excellent article. Did you hear the latest about the astronaut killer-wannabe? She went to court complaining that she wanted her ankle monitor taken off because people were looking at her weird. WTF? Bitch should be sitting in a damn jail cell, not flitting about at home and shit. GRRARGLE!
