Kilts, friends and mystery meat tacos.
Oct. 1st, 2007 09:56 amA great weekend sits in my memory.
It's already been a Monday this morning, but not gonna let it get to me...yet. :D
- Made the best of a long drive to North Carolina (traffic all the way there from Atlanta)
- Saw two good friends become husband and wife.
- Celebrated the fact with their family and friends - L and I were treated like one of the family from the start.
- I do not think I have ever seen a wedding where absolutely everything went as planned: no family drama/Bridezilla/Groomzilla action. When the plans changed, it was kept in the perspective of "Whatever." :D
- Got to talk to many fascinating people.
- Got to be dressed up in authentic Scottish garb (trust me, pictures are coming...)
- Got to spend quality husband/wife time.
- ...and got to have Jack-In-The-Box on the way home.
It's already been a Monday this morning, but not gonna let it get to me...yet. :D
