It's 7PM and you are hungry. You want to go somewhere where you sit down and people serve you, but not too stuck up. You want to eat and sit and talk with your friends for a couple of hours, knowing you'll have a good time, good service and great food.

Village Inn. :) It's up the road from us, the service is pretty good, the food is always good, their strawberry lemonade is awesome, and at that time of night it's not too busy.

Lots of great burgers with some other food mixed in. The burgers come with bottomless fries(and since it is one of my major addictions. That is a huge bonus). They have good milk shakes and a lot of other tasty non and alcoholic drinks. The one we go to in Kenosha and we probably eat there 2 times a month since it open last spring if not more often. We have only had bad service once. And they only have screwed up one order and that was just giving me ranch dipping sauce instead of honey mustered. Which was quickly fixed. That and it helps they are kid friendly and Mattias loves the color of the tables. Last time we where there I did not even need to give him a toy to play with. He just wanted to smack the table.

I think, it was deusinnomen that introduced me to the chain since it is one of the place he ate at when he lived in Seattle.

Red Robin is one of the few place I can all ways get Rob to go eat at.

That's hard especially for me to find a place that doesn't want to turn your table quickly. I'd say Felini's, but they don't really serve you. There is always Manuel's Tavern or Taco Mac.

Ethiopian food is ideal for sharing with a small group of friends and there are several good restaurants in DC, but my favorite is probably Etete. The atmosphere is cosy and laidback. The menu features both meat dishes and veggies dishes, in hot and mild flavors, so there's something for everbody. And they have a full bar.

Toyo grill is pretty good for sitting and chatting. Nice little sushi place up here, a bit on the pricey side but the sushi is that good.

Applebee's as well, I love their steak combos and I can get mine practically mooing. :-D
