What's the worst movie you ever paid money to see in the theater?

Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World.

Obviously the badness has stayed with me because I've seen a lot of bad movies and yet I didn't even have to think about my answer. I almost walked out of You've Got Mail because I thought it was stupid and sexist, but The Lost World was, objectively speaking, the worse of the two.

ICON LOVE

full metal jacket. yeah, i know it is much loved.

i found myself completely disgusted and sick. i actually had to leave the theater and go wait in the car for the inconsiderate ass i was with. seems my now ex husband didn't think anything of his very pregnant wife telling him she couldn't watch another moment of that crap.

i don't date men who love that movie.

The two I've walked out early: Son of the Pink Panther and Hard to Hold starring Rick Springfield(I and friends were pretty plastered so that one may not count)

Worst I sat all the way thru: Highlander:Endgame

Um I don't remember so it must not have been that bad. Granted It has been a very long time since I have seen a new movie and gone to the theater. Last new movie I saw which also happens to be the last movie I saw in a theater was the last Harry Potter movie to come out. That was a month after Mattias was born.

Hmm, the worst movie I paid to see that I can recall would be Ghost Rider, by a landslide. Nothing else comes close to the epic amounts of suck in that movie, not to mention the amount of fan service Cage did for himself. Oy.

It's a tossup between Cafe Flesh and Liquid Sky. Although Terror of Tiny Town was pretty bad, too.

DUNE!! (the first one)

Hands down the worse movie, the worse "adaption of a book", worse acting, worse special effects, BAD BAD BAD

Literally, after the ending (if you can call it that) I went to the front office and when they asked "do you want your money back?" I said NO, I want the last 3 hours of MY LIFE back!!! No matter HOW hard I shook my head like an etch a sketch....damn ya can't unsee that.

The remake of The Wicker Man with Nicholas Cage in it. And I went to a dollar movie - but it still feels like I paid too much.

When Worlds Collide. It was only a buck, but it was time ill-spent. Also, I found the three Star Wars prequels a boring let-down compared to the original three.

I have a few.........
Waterworld (Seriously, Costner needs to send out a written apology and ten bucks to every single person that saw that film in the theater.)
Titanic (Dear James Cameron, Where was I went you went to shit?)
Queen of the Damned (I even got in on a free pass and wanted my money back.)
Napoleon goddamnwasteoffuckingfilm Dynomite (Am I the only person that hated this movie? Seriously. I made it 45 minutes in before yanking it out the xbox, shoving it into its netflix envelope and storming to the mailbox.)

My roommate might still win b/c he paid to see Meatballs 2. He walked out, but is still scarred by the experience.

I forgot to add that I also did not speak to the friend that recommended it to the ex-husband and I for about two weeks.
I still think that I owe him.

No Country for Old Men - I know the Oscars loved it, and i tried right up til the end to give it a chance...but i just didn't like it, apparently for all the reasons the Oscars thought it was good. At least it was in a $4 movie house.

And Sin City - yep, i'm the person that hated it, get out your tar and feathers now.

I liked the last Indy movie, but i completely agree that it was in no way up to par with what could have been. Could also be that the popcorn was really good that night. I have levels of standards...:)

I've actually blocked the name out from my memory... romantic "comedy" from a couple of years ago where this woman's job is to date men who still live w/ their parents in order to get them to move out???

OH! "Failure to Launch" !!!!

It was so bad.

Dungeons and Dragons.

It was a "first date" movie for me and the woman who is now my wife. Five minutes into the movie, we were quoting the lines...before they were said by the characters. 20 minutes and we were doing MST3K, and more entertaining than the actual movie (according to the oh 7 other people in the entire theater).

We still laugh about it.
