reprobaytFirst of all, to all of my friends who got hit with my psychic flareup, causing you to call, write and check in over the past couple days: Thanks - and I'm sorry for the spike. I'll tell that story in another post.
The past few months have been trying. Major financial issues have it - a couple expected, several unexpected. Been doing a lot of juggling of bowling balls, knives and fruit - but Life keeps throwing badgers in the mix. Juggling badgers means I have to pay full attention to the detriment of other things, like major, informative LJ posts. I'll try to get better.
With monies dwindling, bills rising and options dwindling, restful sleep has been a luxury and I have worried people with my lack of cheer and desire to be social in large groups. That's because my "shields" are down and my energy has been low - haven't had the resources to spare, even for people I love dearly. I hope you haven't taken it personally.
I have not be able to do things, go places or splurge much. And that's OK because I'm doing what a man does - he takes care of his business and his family. He makes sure the refrigerator is full and the lights stay on. That has sometimes meant asking for and taking help when offered, even as my pride and ego sulks in a corner.
I just wanted to say Thank You to those who have helped me, my family and my sanity. It's not done yet - still mountains to climb, valleys to cross, bills to pay, (insert your own cliche here...).
But I am blessed with great people in my life...and sometimes you just have to let them know how you feel.
So there. :)

I wish i could help, but both our plates are full right now. You have as many virtual and real hugs as i can give you, and when i see you again i am taking you out for good coffee.
