Last night's epiphany: You could easily remake the classic comedy Trading Places with the Muppets.

Waldorf: Wait, you mean it wasn't done with muppets the first time?

Statler: Yeah, You could've fooled me!

Waldorf: As if that were hard to do.

Statler: No, seriously. Trading Places was originally written as "The Muppets take Wall Street"

Waldorf: The frog and the pig were up for it. Heck, we were born for the roles.

Statler: The problem was they were afraid if the rest of the cast saw what actual money looked like there would be a riot.

Waldorf: Their contracts said they'd earn 50 clams a night. The frog was a always a bit literal with those things.

Statler: Smart though. Most of 'em never noticed the difference.

Waldorf: I sure did. This place got a bit whif around payday.

Statler: I thought it was because you only bathed twice a month.

Waldorf: I guess the world just isn't ready for a bivalve-based economy.

Both: (laughs)
