I try to make sure I have Plan A, B, etc...

This is plan D. I have no plans to leave LJ, but LJ might leave me. *shrugs* Schtuff happens so it's always good to be prepared.

This is me testing DW - imported my stuff without incident.

Will read people who decide to jump. For now, this is just the backup of the backup. :)

Ah, thank you. I fail to see why people would leave over the subject line thing if they stayed through some of the other crap, but I guess everyone has his or her own breaking point. As for me, I'm here for the duration. They will have my LJ when they pry it from my cold, dead hands.

New job is good, but I need some fucking work to do!! I feel self-conscious about being the newb with no work while sitting in the comfort of my own home. :D

I don't plan to go anywhere...but I had a few minutes and it was free.

And it's always good to have a backup.

I'm doing pretty good...trying to get back to a normal schedule.

Thanks for the heads up. I think I will be looking into new options if for nothing else to keep things backed up. As I am sure you noticed I primarily use my LJ to keep up with other people at this point with an occasional out let for frustration post.

I have a DW account that I was using to post things on LJ. I quit doing that when LJ had issues and wouldn't allow the cross posting. I am now thinking I may flatten my DW account every few months and then reimport everything from LJ again so that I always have a backup of the comments.
