She's already looking into heading into the Air Force after high school...but if she craps out in school or at home, she may head there a little early...
no matter what the recruiter tells her about being guaranteed a job, she's not. She won't actually know her job until she graduates Basic and TESTS for the job. The Army does all that testing before hand and assigns your SSN to the job of your choosing... Like me, I'm guaranteed the job of Cannon Crewmember, not forward scout or fire-direction control, or MLRS. You/she may want to take that into consideration.
