Update

Only the master bedroom was spared the flood.

The Child is staying with friends until everything is dry and replaced.

Apartment complex personnel so far have stepped up as far as the cleaning - let's see what happens when I ask them about their responsibility.

Didn't sleep well at all - HUGE fan is blowing to circulate air thru the apartment. Add grumpy cats confined to our bedroom and sleep wasn't easily obtained.

It's gonna take until maybe Friday for the floors to be dry enough to even think about replacing the carpet...

Whee.

Actually, we were pretty lucky. The water was clean (not sewer), the apartment complex has stepped up (they're changing out the carpet once it dries a little more). The few things absolutely ruined were furniture, and I'm gonna work with the complex on that.

I'm just doing laundry and trying to keep my sanity.

I appreciate the help...but right now we've got things as under control as they can be.

Thanks - and don't worry, I'll yell for help when I need it. I just gotta keep from going nuts.
